Hi Ben, In the first qualifying round of the Europa League back in August, League of Ireland side Shamrock Rovers prevailed in a penalty shootout against Finnish team Ilves Tampere that went for 26 spot kicks including 21 penalties converted in a row. Rovers won 13-12. I believe this is a record in European competitions - would be good to get this confirmed please and would this be a topic worth exploring more e.g. longest shootout in major leagues / world cup / euros / FA Cup and also the greatest number of consecutive kicks scored.
